READ BEFORE UPDATING FROM 5.1.7 OR EARLIER: Updating from version 5 erases all settings on the Cortex EBC, and version 5 files cannot be used with version 6. Before updating, connect with your version 5 software and save your boost, vehicle, and output configuration files, so you can open them in that software and refer to them later. After updating, you MUST create new boost, vehicle, and output configuration files and transfer them to the Cortex EBC. See the update instructions.
